The University of Central Arkansas College of Fine Arts and Communication seeks to be Arkansas’ preeminent provider of undergraduate education in the arts. The college’s primary mission is the preparation of the next generation of artists, educators and communicators. Our Department of Music is an artistic community of over 200 music majors and a faculty of 44 artists and music academicians. With a specialist for every aspect of the music curriculum, the Department of Music makes it possible for students to reach their highest potential. UCA Public Appearances, a division within the college, develops and presents performing arts programming to the entire Central Arkansas community. Public Appearances’ home is the Donald W.
